Living by the moon!"Lunasacrada", the sacred moon, an amazing mandala, hand painted in beautiful bright blue and golden tones and and richly gilded with precious leaf silver. Accents of structure paint give another precious note. This very special mandala can be decorated either as an impressive wall decor or as an eye catching table decor. The mandala is painted in acrylic and relief paints on a round wooden base, and has got lots of precious leaf gilded parts. The back has got fittings for wall hanging as well as a felt botton for table decoration. The diameter is 43 cm. The ancient teachings of the Mayas speak about a shift in time quality which took place on December 21st in the year 2012. On and around this date, on the islands Isla del Sol (island of the sun) and Isla de la Luna (island of the moon), two small islands within lake Titicaca at Peru, the indigene elders held mystical rites to support this shift of the earth energy. It is told that the kundalini, the vibrational power of the earth, the pachamama, has been moving from the east to the southern west, and so would the dynamics on the planet shift. The masculine force that reigened this planet alone for many thousand years would on this date and within those ancient rites give the power back to the divine feminine, and the balance within the feminine and the masculine would be restored on this planet. Honoring the ancient indigene wisdom of the Maya and Inca tradition, I created the mandala artworks Solsacrado (sacred sun) and Lunasacrada (sacred moon), two mandalas richly decorated with symbolism in deep blue and bright gold or soft silver.
